The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels is one of the most architecturally decorated campus in the Downtown Los Angeles area.
With a high image to maintain, the life span of fluorescent tubes and ballasts left an eye sore on the lighting end and was
inconvenient maintenance-wise. At 24-hour operation, Carson Technology’s LED T8 Tubes provided the answer for the parking garage
and actually increased light output, in addition to the convenience of installing LED tubes and not having to worry about it for
at least 5 years. The Cathedral then moved onto the conference rooms and other areas that needed an upgrade to LED lighting.
Carson Technology was also presented with the honor to provide custom lighting for a relic of the robe involved from the event
of the appearance of the Virgin Mary in Guadalupe. The relic is proudly displayed in the chapel on the campus of the Cathedral.
